At The Village Schoolhouse, we believe that learning should be joyful, meaningful, and rooted in connection. Our private homeschool program serves students in Kindergarten through 4th grade with a unique blend of hands-on, play-based learning and intentional academic instruction, designed to meet children where they are and help them thrive.

We operate Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, offering a full and enriching school day that balances structure with creativity. For families needing extended care or extra engagement, we also offer our optional Voyage Program, a themed after-school experience that runs from 2:00–3:00 PM.

Throughout the week, our students explore a wide variety of subjects including:

    •    Reading & Writing – Through phonics, literature, journaling, and storytelling

    •    Mathematics – Building strong number sense, problem-solving, and foundational fluency

    •    Social Studies – Exploring cultures, geography, history, community, and character education

    •    Science – Woven into our social studies and project-based learning, with engaging topics like weather, habitats, experiments, and nature studies

    •    Creative Arts & Free Play – Daily time for creative expression, hands-on crafts, sensory play, and imaginative exploration

Our curriculum is guided by the Nevada State Standards, ensuring that your child’s learning goals and academic benchmarks are aligned with those in traditional school settings. That means if your child ever transitions into or out of our program, they will be supported and on track.
